“Everytime i drive a BMW M3 E30,
I cry from happiness

Cars have always been part of my life. Not because of status or show, but because I enjoy the work. I like building something with my own hands and seeing it perform the way it should.

The BMW M3 E30 is a special car to me. It has history, character and purpose. Preparing these cars for rally is not about making them perfect for a showroom. It is about making them strong, reliable and fast where it matters most. Gravel, tarmac, competition.

I believe in doing things properly. Attention to detail, honest work and clear communication. No shortcuts. When a car leaves our workshop, it has to be right. That is what I stand for.

“My favorite place on earth
is behind the wheel of an M3″

I got into racing not because it looked cool, but because I enjoy driving and improving every time I get behind the wheel. I like the feeling of pushing a car hard and learning something new with each kilometre. I drive to feel, and to slide on tarmac, gravel and snow.

I’ve had good results in trophies like the Clio Trophy France and I’ve taken chances to try new things like rallycross when the opportunity came along. I don’t go into it thinking it has to be perfect. I go in thinking I want to learn fast and get better.

I like real work, clear goals and honest effort. If a drive was easy nobody would remember it. I want to be known for handling whatever surface or challenge comes my way and for enjoying it every step of the way.

Where Champions
Are Engineered

The workshop in Veghel is built around one clear purpose: building and maintaining rally cars at the highest level. At any given time, up to twenty cars are being manufactured or repaired, from bare shells to fully prepared competition cars. The facility is organised with dedicated rooms for welding, cleaning, coating, electrics and engine building, alongside the offices that handle planning and customer communication. Three separate storage areas house brand new homologated parts, many specially designed and developed by the MATS team to optimize performance and reliability.

Mats leads a core team of around nine people and is closely involved in every build. His father Mark and younger brother Stig are part of the workshop and organisation, together with experienced technicians and mechanics who share the same mindset. The approach is simple: work hard, communicate clearly and make sure every car leaves the workshop properly built and ready to perform.
